Takeoff
- Weight comes from the IFC itself where the exporter wrote it (Tekla Weight, IFC NetWeight): IFC. Otherwise it is estimated from the solid volume × 7850 kg/m³: geometry.
- Length likewise: the exporter’s length, or the longest side of the member’s own bounding box.
- Steel is recognised from the material name (S235, S355, Q235, A36, “steel”…). Members without a material are counted as steel; concrete and other materials are listed separately.
- Click a row to highlight those members in 3D; click a member in 3D to see its data. Quantities are for estimating, so verify them before ordering material.
